My son-in-law (to be) gave me a little plant called "flowering Maple" It grew and grew and bloomed and bloomed and got so tall I had to cut it down which meant I lost a lot of future blooms. So I put the cuttings into a vase and snapped a photo and then painted it. I used a knife for a big part of this painting.
