This painting of egrets in a swamp is 28x22 on canvas in acrylics. I think egrets are beautiful birds and I love swamps. I saw a moose in a swamp once and he was awesome.

There is something awesome about sitting on the shore watching a storm play out just a few miles out while the weather is fine where you are. This is a painting of someone doing just that.

HALLS HARBOUR NOVA SCOTIA

This is a painting of Halls Harbour, a tiny village fishing village on Nova Scotia’s Bay of Fundy coast. Halls Harbour has some of the highest tides in the World, the fishermen must take their boats out at high tide and then return on the next tide or they cannot enter the harbour.

Halls Harbour is reputedly named after Samuel Hall, an American privateer in the American Revolution who used the cove to raid settlements in the Annapolis Valley but was forced to flee and abandon his ship in the harbour. Legend holds that Hall left treasure behind, attracting treasure hunters who have left abandoned pits deep in the woods surrounding the harbour.

Confederation Bridge

This is a painting of the Confederation Bridge that spans New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. At 12.9 kilometers (8 miles), the Confederation Bridge is world's longest bridge over ice-covered water. It has won dozens of international engineering awards. I've been advised that the fourth span pilon is out of shape with the rest of the bridge. I will enclose the photo used to paint this bridge and as you will notice, this is truly the shape of this pilon. Thanks for looking
