This is a portrait of my daughter Shannon done in inktense pencils and acrylics. It's the Shannon I remember while she was still in university. She often wore a beautiful electric blue sweater and blue jeans. I think it looks like her it's how I remember her some of you who know her might disagree but this is the way I see her. Artists don’t see things the way other people do, how could they, and when they do they stop being artists.

BEAUTIFUL PAINTING AND BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER
CATHY
Thank you
Lorraine,
This is gorgeous. The softness of the background culminates to reveal such a beautiful lady. Love the blues and greens too. They really set off her hair!
