Confederation Bridge

this is a photograph of the bridge

This is a painting of the Confederation Bridge that spans New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. At 12.9 kilometers (8 miles), the Confederation Bridge is world's longest bridge over ice-covered water. It has won dozens of international engineering awards. I've been advised that the fourth span pilon is out of shape with the rest of the bridge. I will enclose the photo used to paint this bridge and as you will notice, this is truly the shape of this pilon. Thanks for looking

What a surprise to come across a painting of the bridge! I grew up with this bridge being the first thing I saw in the morning and the last thing I saw at night. It truly is a remarkable structure, and it's amazing how the light plays off of it changing its colours and appearance.

Your painting is quite incredible as well, and yes that fourth span trips most artists up!

Again, lovely job, and an excellent choice of subject.
