This is a view of the climbing hydrangeas growing on our back fence. The beautiful Hemlock tree is one we found about 15 years ago, growing on the side of a rock in a brook. We lifted it off and brought it and the piece of moss it was attached to home and planted it in our garden. It is the softest best smelling evergreen in out yard.

I saw this house and thought it was beautiful. It was on an old downtown street so of course there was no reflecting pond or water lilies or trees. So when I painted the house I changed the colour put blue shutters on and moved it out into the country. I think it looks happier now.

This painting was taken from a photo of my living room. The sun shining in the window was so pretty and caught my eye. I changed a few things, for one my fireplace has a gas insert and my window is three times this size.
